“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 101: 6

My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; He who walks in a perfect way, He shall serve me.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should safeguard ourselves so that we are not put in captivity.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not backslide and safeguard ourselves carefully.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Chronicles 6: 1 The sons of Levi were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

In the above-mentioned verses, the sons of Levi were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. Also, the sons of Kohath in 1 Chronicles 6: 2 – 14 The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

The children of Amram were Aaron, Moses, and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Eleazar begot Phinehas, and Phinehas begot Abishua;

Abishua begot Bukki, and Bukki begot Uzzi;

Uzzi begot Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begot Meraioth;

Meraioth begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;

Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Ahimaaz;

Ahimaaz begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Johanan;

Johanan begot Azariah (it was he who ministered as priest in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem);

Azariah begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;

Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Shallum;

Shallum begot Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begot Azariah;

Azariah begot Seraiah, and Seraiah begot Jehozadak.

Till this everyone are the generations of the Kohathites. At the end Seraiah after he begot Jehozadak the Lord carried Judah and Jerusalem into captivity by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar and Jehozadak went into captivity.

My dear people, when we mediate upon the above-mentioned verses, the Lord is making the people of Judah and Jerusalem and along with them Jehozadak, the generation of Levi are being made captive by the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar means in our life whenever we break the laws of the Lord our soul is desiring the world and the things in the world. Then itself the Lord is making our souls into captivity. Therefore, our soul should always think regarding things pertaining to the Lord. In this manner, so that no one among us goes into captivity let us submit ourselves to the Lord.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
