“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 77: 14, 15   You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples.

You have with Your arm redeemed Your people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Hallelujah

The Redemption of our Soul - Through Christ

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we hope in Christ that the portion of the Bible that we meditated on yesterday was useful to all of you. In the life of Joseph, we see that his brothers sold him to the Ishmaelites because of jealousy. We see that in the same manner though our Lord Jesus Christ is blessed by God and The Spirit of the Lord was upon him because of jealousy he was hated by his people and is rejected by them. But many people believed in him because he preached with authority, did signs and miracles, chased the demons, healed many sicknesses and because he raised people from the dead. But we see that he was persecuted by the scribes, Pharisees and Jews. In this manner, in our lives, we who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ will be persecuted a lot by the enemy. But Jesus tolerated everything with patience and saw victory in the world and was victorious over the world. The world will hate us. That is why Jesus said the world hated me and the world will hate you too.

Due to jealousy they sold Joseph into the hands of the Ishmaelites. The Ishmaelites sold him in Egypt to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and captain of the guard.

Then we see that in order for Jacob to think that a wild beast had devoured Joseph, they took his tunic, killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood and they sent it.

But Our Lord Jesus Christ was clothed with a robe dipped in blood means why was his robe dipped in blood. The reason for that is our extravagant sinful life. This is because as a pattern God is showing that Jacob had given a tunic of many colors to Joseph so God gives him into the hands of his brothers. In the same manner, we should realize that due to our sins, curses and for everything our Jesus is being given into the hands of the enemy. The most important thing is that through him, God is giving us a good salvation.

Isaiah 63: 1 - 5 Who is this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah, This One who is glorious in His apparel, Traveling in the greatness of His strength?— “I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”

Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

“I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.

For the day of vengeance is in My heart, And the year of My redeemed has come.

I looked, but there was no one to help, And I wondered That there was no one to uphold; Therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me; And My own fury, it sustained Me.

From this what we understand is that, to save our soul Our Lord God himself rises up from within us with dyed garments. The garments are like one who treads in the winepress, all the garments are like blood has been sprinkled on them and he treads upon us in anger. We come to know that He redeems the souls that are there within us by manifesting himself. He delivers us from the wicked ways of Edom and saves us. Only if we get the true salvation we will have joy in our lives. If we have to receive the true salvation of our soul all our old sinful characters should die. Our soul which has died should rise up again with Christ. That is the resurrection of our soul. God's words should revive us.

Also in Revelation 14: 14 - 16  Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”

So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

This is the redemption of the harvest of our soul.

Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.”

So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs.

My dear people of God who are reading this, keep this in mind and please read it carefully and meditate on it. This is because many of us think that we are saved. God's winepress of vengeance is each one of us. When God is treading on the winepress with anger it means the grape fruit is our soul, what is coming out of it is blood, our stains of sin. The person treading on us is our Lord Jesus Christ. Our sinful deeds are staining his robe. When we cleanse all our sinful deeds with His word,  his blood will remove all our sins and cleanse us. Everyday we must receive his cleansing in our lives and through his holy word if we will keep ourselves holy the redemption of our soul will be pleasant.

Let us pray.
