Explanation regarding the things that should not occur inside the church

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated so far we saw regarding the deliverance of Jacob. We meditated regarding how the redeemed should protect their lives by not giving it into the hands of the enemy, why we are becoming captives, the reasons why God allows us to go into captivity, God shows Jacob as a church as a pattern and how God delivers us from that captivity and how God is guiding his flock.

Also the twelve sons of Jacob are written in the Bible as the fathers of the twelve tribes. We see that among all of them Joseph, the son that Rachel gave birth to Jacob was loved much more by Jacob. The reason why Jacob loved Joseph more was he was born during Israel's old age. So Israel loved Joseph more than all his children and made him a tunic of many colors. Because of that his brothers hated him.

When Joseph was seventeen years old,  he was feeding the flock with his brothers.  And the sons of Jacob's wives who were maidservants walked in evil ways; and Joseph brought a bad report of them to his father. So Joseph's brothers did not speak peaceably to him and hated him even more.

Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated Joseph even more. When we say the generation of Jacob God is showing this as a pattern to Christ's church. God is showing Jacob that Joseph is a fruitful bough. God is showing this as pattern to the church. Joseph is telling about the dream that God gave him to his brothers. There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”

The dream that Joseph saw shows the souls in the church. God is showing that the sheaves of his brothers are fallen down and the tribe of Joseph is standing upright.

Genesis 37: 8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.

Here we see that it is showing jealousy. Jealousy between churches.

Proverbs 14: 30 A sound heart is life to the body, But envy is rottenness to the bones.

From this we understand that if we become jealous of each other it will be rottenness to the bones. The growth of our soul will be stunted. But if we have a sound heart it is life to our soul. That life will be a light for us. We will walk in the brightness of that light. If we walk in that way we will know the path of Christ. We will not slip and fall. But Joseph's brothers have slipped and fallen down and God is showing this to Joseph as a pattern.

Then Joseph sees another dream Genesis 37: 9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”

So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?”

Genesis 37: 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

1 Corinthians 3: 3  for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?

From this, if we walk in God we must walk as brothers without jealously, arguments and differences that I am greater or smaller. Here we see that in the church and among the brothers there is jealousy.

We see that the generation of God's church, the elders with growth in their souls are becoming jealous. Jacob is sending his generation Joseph, who saw a dream at the age of seventeen whom he loved till then to Shechem where his other sons were feeding their flock because he realized that God is making him grow in the spirit but his heart was not alright about it. Joseph obeyed him and agreed to go.

Genesis 37: 14 Then he said to him, “Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.” So he sent him out of the Valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem.

From there he went to Dothan. He found out that his brothers were feeding the flock in Dothan. Now when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they conspired against him to kill him.  Then they said to one another, “Look, this dreamer is coming!

Genesis 37: 20 Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!”

But we see that Joseph's brothers are trying to make sure that the dreams are not fulfilled.  But God will fulfill what he thinks.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
