“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Amos 6: 8  The Lord God has sworn by Himself, The Lord God of hosts says: “I abhor the pride of Jacob, And hate his palaces; Therefore I will deliver up the city And all that is in it.”

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Hallelujah

Explanation regarding the fleshly thoughts of Jacob

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, after Jacob saw the dream that God showed him he went to the land of the people of the east. And he saw a well in the field; and behold, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks. A large stone was  kept on the well’s mouth.

Genesis 29: 3  Now all the flocks would be gathered there; and they would roll the stone from the well’s mouth, water the sheep, and put the stone back in its place on the well’s mouth.

And Jacob said to them, “My brethren, where are you from?” And they said, “We are from Haran.” Then he said to them, “Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?” And they said, “We know him.” So he said to them, “Is he well?” And they said, “He is well. And look, his daughter Rachel is coming with the sheep.”

Then he said, “Look, it is still high day; it is not time for the cattle to be gathered together. Water the sheep, and go and feed them.”

Genesis 29: 8 But they said, “We cannot until all the flocks are gathered together, and they have rolled the stone from the well’s mouth; then we water the sheep.”

Then Rachel came with her father’s sheep. When Jacob saw Rachel  and the sheep of his mother’s brother, he rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and watered the flock of Laban.

Then Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice and wept. And told Rachel that he was her father’s relative so she ran and told her father.

Then Rachel's father - Genesis 29: 14 And Laban said to him, “Surely you are my bone and my flesh.” And he stayed with him for a month.

Jacob listened to what his father Isaac told him and came to the land of the people of the East. There, the well which was in the field signifies the church. The stone that was kept on the well shows as a pattern that it was a  (sealed well). Also the shepherds there would roll the stone from the well’s mouth and water their flock of sheep. Their practice was that only when they were watering their flock the stone would be rolled and after that they would place the stone back in the same place. In order to protect the water there the stone was kept there as a seal. The well is a place where the sheep drink water and there is no doubt that we are also the well. That is why in Ephesians 1: 13, 14 it is written  In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise

who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

My dear people of God who are reading this, we must read each and every word and bring it to our notice. God's words are not empty. All the words are words which give us much fruit.

That well is our soul. Jacob is giving water to the sheep which Rachel brought from that well. The place where the sheep are given water is the church. If we have to be the bride - the church, we must be sealed with the Holy Spirit. Those who belong to God for the praise of his glory will be satisfied by the water of that well. God is showing this as a pattern that he is redeeming us by the living water who is Christ. Also The Holy Spirit is the seal of our inheritance. God is showing us as a pattern about Rachel coming with the sheep to show that the wife - the bride through the Holy Spirit is giving food to the sheep - which are the souls.

Jacob works in Laban's house for seven years for Rachel. But older daughter is Leah, younger one is Rachel. The reason why Jacob is working for the younger daughter Rachel is because he wanted to make her his wife. This is because Rachel was  beautiful of form and appearance. Leah's eyes were delicate. So Jacob loved Rachel the reason being lust of the eyes. But after seven years were over, Laban gives the elder daughter Leah to Jacob. Jacob realizes the next day only and when he asks Laban he says, “It must not be done so in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn. For Leah he gives Zilpah as a maid.

Then Laban tells Jacob after seven days I will give you Rachel. He tells him to work for him for Rachel for another seven years. So he gave Jacob his daughter Rachel as wife. And Laban gave Bilhah to his daughter Rachel as a maid.

Genesis 29: 30 Then Jacob also went in to Rachel, and he also loved Rachel more than Leah. And he served with Laban still another seven years.

Genesis 29: 31 When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren.

In this manner, Leah gives birth to four sons - Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah. The fourth time she says “Now I will praise the Lord.” Therefore she called his name Judah.

As an example that those who are considered low in front of people will be blessed before God, God is showing us Leah with the delicate eyes. Judah means I will praise the Lord. In the same tribe of Judah only our Lord Jesus Christ was born. Not only that, through her the generations were more and Leah gave birth to more father of tribes.

Now since Rachel did not have children, she envied her sister. Not only that but she gives Bilhah her maid as a wife to Jacob. And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son and named him as Dan.

Then the maid Bilhah gave birth to a second son for Jacob and named him Naphtali.

From this we come to know that there was fleshly deeds in Jacob.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
