“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Malachi 1: 4, 5  Even though Edom has said, “We have been impoverished, But we will return and build the desolate places,”Thus says the Lord of hosts: “They may build, but I will throw down; They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness, And the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever.

Your eyes shall see, And you shall say, ‘The Lord is magnified beyond the border of Israel.’

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Hallelujah

The way the yoke kept on Esau breaks

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we see that God blesses Jacob as God's house. The stone that he made to stand is the Chief cornerstone kept in Zion. The pouring of oil signifies as a pattern  the anointing of the Chief cornerstone who is Christ by God as a sign.

That is why, in Psalms 20: 6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.

God gives the same promise to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. What God says is that your generation - and he shows clearly here that the generation is Christ.  God says -Your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread to all places and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. That promise is manifested from generation to generation with us and within us.

But Isaac tells Esau “Behold, your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth, And of the dew of heaven from above. By your sword you shall live, And you shall serve your brother; And it shall come to pass, when you become restless, That you shall break his yoke from your neck.”

The reason he said this is that the generation of Edom even though their life was with the fatness of the earth, when God's words come down from the heaven like dew, by the sword which is God's words the fleshly stains of Esau will be removed and when we continue to grow in the word of God, the time will come when we will be able to overcome the fleshly and worldly thoughts. Then the yoke that Jacob kept will be broken and the Edomites will worship God in spirit.

In this manner, when we all think the blessing that Esau received is what we all have. Through the word of God, the yoke which was against the anointing in us is broken and we become victorious. Therefore we should all remove the fleshly thoughts and live with spiritual thoughts.

What God's words tell us in Psalms 60 - If God scatters our thoughts and forsakes us and if he is angry with us, the way we should pray is -

Psalms 60: 1 - 5 O God, You have cast us off; You have broken us down; You have been displeased; Oh, restore us again!

You have made the earth tremble; You have broken it; Heal its breaches, for it is shaking.

You have shown Your people hard things; You have made us drink the wine of confusion.

You have given a banner to those who fear You, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah

That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me.

In this manner, we must now leave our fleshly thoughts, worldly desires and pray for God's spirit to lead us, then God will break all the yokes of fleshly deeds, natural characters and we will be in fellowship with God.

That is what is written in Psalms 60: 6 - 12 verses God has spoken in His holiness: “I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem And measure out the Valley of Succoth.

Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet for My head; Judah is My lawgiver.

Moab is My washpot; Over Edom I will cast My shoe; Philistia, shout in triumph because of Me.”

Who will bring me to the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom?

Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?

Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.

Through God we will do valiantly,

From this what we understand is that God will not cast us away all the days. All the enemies against us (mainly all the deeds in our soul which are against God's spirit) God will stamp them with his power and will fill all of us with God's spirit definitely.

Our God does not hate and push away anyone who comes to him. If we come with humbleness, obedience and listen to his voice and do according to that He will give us a portion in his kingdom.

God shows us through the word of God that even in Jacob fleshly deeds were present. Therefore, when we read Psalms 87 we are able to meditate that -

Psalms 87: 1 - 3 His foundation is in the holy mountains.

The Lord loves the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob.

Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God! Selah

God used Jacob as a pattern before his glory whereas the glorious church of Zion God built it up.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
