My dearly beloved in Christ,

4. Be patient with all – Patience or meekness us to be one in our spiritual eyes. This is something which God expects from all man. As we read this, it is our responsibility to analyze ourselves. This is a good character which makes us holy. If we have spiritual good deeds in us we should have meekness in us, according to the word of God.

Numbers 12: 3 - (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)

There was no man who was as meek as Moses before this as said by our Lord. Moses was an important vessel that God chose to bring Israelites (consisting of 6,00,000 men alone) out of the bondage of Egypt.

The words that God says about Moses in Numbers 12: 6 – 8 - Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.

Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house.

I speak with him face to face, even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?”

In this manner. God witnessed about Moses because Moses was the meekest among all the people in the Earth. Only because he was very meek he was able to lead the Israelites ( consisting of 6,00,000 men alone not including children) patiently through many difficulties.

He prayed a lot for the people. But the people did not realize that. God was speaking to Moses face to face in his form.

In the same way, in God’s word – Philippians 4: 5 - Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Philippians 4: 6, 7 - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Therefore my dearly beloved if we are meek whatever problems may come, if we do not separate from Christ’s love, we will be able to face any problem. Then meekness will come within us.

If we remain meek in every situation then we receive long suffering.

Isaiah 53:7 - He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. (This shows long suffering)

Matthew 5:5 - Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.

James 1: 19 – 21 - So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;

for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

My dearly beloved, only if we have meekness in our souls – filthiness and wickedness will leave our lives. Only then we will be able to receive the Word of God with meekness that we hear and read everyday.

Filthiness and wickedness is the old leavened bread – as it is written in God’s word.

I Corinthians 5: 6 – 8 - Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

Therefore, purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

Therefore, let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Therefore, my dearly beloved let us change all our old life and pray in these days always for a new heart to be given by God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ told that the teachings of Pharisees and Saducees were leavened bread.

In our lives, if we have put on Christ Jesus, we should definitely have long suffering. That is Salvation.

Psalms 149: 4, 5 says - For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.

Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.

May God give all of us long suffering and bless us all. May the Lord bless you all. May we grow in holiness.
