My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Rebekah gave birth to two sons for Isaac. Once they grew up, we see that Esau sold his birthright for a meal. Birthright is written in the Old Testament as an important portion for our fathers. But in the New Testament birthright signifies the Bride – the church. It shows us an important life which is filled with the Holy Spirit worshipping God with the beauty of a bride. In that case all of us will always walk in the counsel of God. Only those who are a part of God’s church (Holy church) can follow this and protect themselves every day. If we go here and there and walk like Esau this will be taken away from us. Therefore, every one of us should receive the birthright. Those who have received the Holy Spirit in this manner should not have any roots of bitterness spring up. Not only that if any roots of bitterness springs up it will cause trouble within the church. This is cause many to become defiled because of us.

If we have to receive this  - Matthew 13: 44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

In this manner, if we want to protect the birthright which the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our soul, we must leave everything else. The bride – the church which lives in this manner is whom God accepts. All this will happen inside God’s church and nowhere else.

But if we are like Esau out of the church and walking outside as we like our soul will be weary. Not only that we will also lose our birthright. The name of the weary one was called Edom.

But we must be like Jacob and be first to receive the privilege of the birthright.

Who is the person becoming weary? Those who do not hear God’s word properly and accept it. Isaiah 28: 7 – 9 But they also have erred through wine, And through intoxicating drink are out of the way; The priest and the prophet have erred through intoxicating drink, They are swallowed up by wine, They are out of the way through intoxicating drink; They err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

For all tables are full of vomit and filth; No place is clean.

“Whom will he teach knowledge? And whom will he make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk. Those just drawn from the breasts?

When we meditate on the above verses, we see that because God’s people are doing things which God does not desire, their hearts are filled with filth and vomit. It shows that they do not have a clean heart and people who do not have a clean heart cannot teach knowledge.

Who can make people understand the message – God says Those people who have drank the milk which is God’s words and those who have drank God’s words – the milk and are satisfied can only make people understand the message.

But Jerusalem, God is telling regarding God’s servants that are spoiling God’s words and walking in Isaiah 28: 10,11 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little.”

For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people,

When we read this what we understand is that God’s servants are not explaining clearly the word of God  but are saying here a little and there a little and as they are not explaining it clearly to the people those peoples tables are filled with vomit and filth. God is angry with them and is speaking to them with stammering lips and another tongue. And God is cheating them by saying that “This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest,” Because they did not the rest from it, they will not believe it.

My dear brothers and sisters, you all should clearly understand and realize this. We should not be cheated. If we are not clean God will speak to us with stammering lips as another tongue. We must be very careful.

In these days in many lives they will speak in other tongues but there will not be any peace in their lives. There will be no rest. We should observe carefully. The reason for this is because we do not accept God’s words properly and we do not cleanse ourselves. So, we must know that due to this God’s anger is with us.

That is why in Isaiah 28: 12 – 16 To whom He said, “This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest,” And, “This is the refreshing”; Yet they would not hear.

But the word of the Lord was to them, “Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little,” That they might go and fall backward, and be broken And snared and caught.

Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem,

Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, It will not come to us, For we have made lies our refuge, And under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.”

Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily.
